The domaine is situated on the Causse de Minerve (limestone plateau) and today boasts 22 hectares of vines of which 20 hectares are used for the production of AOC Minervois and the rest for Vin de Pays d’Oc and Vin de Pays de l’Hérault.

Jean-Paul Verdier has inherited several centuries of winemaking tradition. He continues to preserve the domaine’s history and reputation by producing deeply coloured wines with well-structured palates that reflect the very best of the Southern France style.

The story began in 1713 when the Verdier family acquired a 50-are plot of vines here.

« The domaine continues to prosper and has since been passed down from father to son… and also from father to daughter, as my mother took over the domaine from my grandfather » explains Jean-Paul Verdier, who has been making wine since 1980.

TONKIN ROUGE

AOP Minervois

Varietals : Syrah, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre.

Tasting notes : A garnet colour with deep reflections, a very elegant nose with hints of black fruit and spices. The palate reveals a significant freshness, very flattering aromas of ripe fruits. The finish is smooth and enjoyable.

TONKIN BLANC

IGP Pays d’Oc

Varietal : Chardonnay

Tasting notes : This wine displays a beautiful shimmering yellow hue and, after initial aromas of brioche and grilled hazelnuts, reveals sweet notes of tropical fruit.
Deliciously full and fleshy on the palate, with flavours of white fruit and crème brûlée, the wine shows a fresh touch of citrus on the finish, providing perfect balance.

TONKIN ROSÉ

Varietals : Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre.

Tasting notes : Lychee color, this rosé wine with nose of red berries and subtle hints of spices will surprise you with its ample and structured mouth.
