The domaine is situated on the Causse de Minerve (limestone plateau) and today boasts 22 hectares of vines of which 20 hectares are used for the production of AOC Minervois and the rest for Vin de Pays d’Oc and Vin de Pays de l’Hérault.

Jean-Paul Verdier has inherited several centuries of winemaking tradition. He continues to preserve the domaine’s history and reputation by producing deeply coloured wines with well-structured palates that reflect the very best of the Southern France style.

The story began in 1713 when the Verdier family acquired a 50-are plot of vines here.

« The domaine continues to prosper and has since been passed down from father to son… and also from father to daughter, as my mother took over the domaine from my grandfather » explains Jean-Paul Verdier, who has been making wine since 1980.

HAMEAU RED

AOP Minervois

Varietals : Syrah, Grenache, Carignan.

Tasting notes : Very beautiful intense purple color. The nose is very fresh, with aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, spicy notes of gray pepper and cloves as well as subtle mineral touch of flint. The palate is complex, rich and concentrated, on black fruits, liquorice and violets.

HAMEAU WHITE

IGP Pays d’Oc

Varietal : Chardonnay

Tasting notes : Beautiful bright yellow color. The nose is intense and greedy, with notes of apricot, mango and candied pineapple, supported by sweet spices, vanilla and a hint of ginger. The palate is very smooth, both round and fresh, on yellow and exotic fruits.

HAMEAU ROSÉ

AOP Minervois

Varietals : Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre.

Tasting notes : Beautiful lychee pink dress. The nose is very intense, with notes of tangy red berries such as redcurrant or raspberry, and white flowers. The palate is very lively, with floral and mineral notes and a long tangy finish.
